Bill Zwecker of the Chicago Sun-Times reports Ben Affleck’s mother, Chris, is not that wild about her son’s current girlfriend and rumored fiance Jennifer Lopez. Several sources tell him that Chris is very cool to the idea of a Ben and J.Lo marriage and would prefer him to be back with former girlfriend Gwyneth Paltrow. ”Chris is not dissimilar to most mothers,” a pal says. ”She is very worried about the fact Jennifer already has had two husbands and was married to both for less than a year.”

Jeannette Walls of MSNBC reports some celebrities at the VH1-Vogue Fashion Awards were complaining when Jennifer Lopez’s name was listed last to begin the show, while all the other names were listed in alphabetical order. “There were some pretty big names there and VH-1 had a lot of discussion about what order to announce them at the beginning of the show,” says a source. “They didn’t want anyone to feel snubbed by listing them in order of importance, so it was decided that all the stars would be announced alphabetically.”
