Mariah Carey is participating in an auction to benefit the Society of Singers, which benefits the health and welfare of professional singers worldwide with emergency financial assistance. They also raise money for Masters level students who are pursuing their education in the vocal arts at accredited universities and music schools across the U.S.
The auction closes on April 18th on the UniversalMusicStore.com eBay page. Items include a box of signed Mariah Carey Luscious Pink perfume, a signed Emancipation of Mimi CD, and a signed Adventures of Mimi DVD set.

Gain laundry detergent is featuring a “first sniff story” contest, where users of the product are asked to submit their experience the first time they smelled Gain. Mandy Moore is the celebrity face of the campaign, talking about her own first sniff story and acting as a guide for the contest web site. The ballad along with a personal message is then embedded into an animated e-card which can be sent virally to friends and family just in time for Valentine’s Day.
Lindsay Lohan’s father Michael has started up an official web site, MikeLohanOnline.com. In his first posting, Lohan said the blog “is NOT about Lindsay or Samantha” and that he has “no intention of disclosing any information or feelings I may have about either one of them unless it is in defense of what they or one of their ‘mouthpieces’ might say about me.” Lohan also posted a video message discussing the purpose of the site.

Christina Aguilera has created, decorated and autographed an 
Original Wooden “Paper Doll” currently being auctioned on eBay. The auction ends on December 10th, with proceeds going to the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt in Nashville, Tennessee.
One side of the paper doll, which measures approximately 12″ x 8″ x 1.5″, is primarily bright pink dots of all sizes with white and black accents, while the other side is mostly blue spots with white and yellow for contrast. Christina’s signature graces the bottom of the doll.
