‘High School Musical 3′ Rakes In $42 Million In Opening Weekend

Disney is celebrating the opening weekend of ‘High School Musical 3: Senior Year’, which ruled the box office by earning $42 million according to studio estimates. The tally was enough to top the $27.8 million earned by ‘Mamma Mia!’ to become the biggest debut for a musical. Horror movie ‘Saw V’ opened in second place, with $30.5 million.

‘High School Musical 3′ Graduation Felt Real To Vanessa Hudgens

Troy, Gabriella, Sharpay and the gang are back for another helping of squeaky clean Disney fun. spoke with ITN about the big screen flick. “I feel we really stepped it up a notch with ‘High School Musical 3′,” she said. “But the musical number that meant the most to me was a song at the very end called ‘High School Musical’. It was the very first time to wear a cap and a gown because I was home schooled. It just meant a lot, because it didn’t feel like we were only graduating in the movie, it felt like we were graduating from ‘High School Musical’ itself, so it was very emotional.” The clip, also featuring Zac Efron talking about kissing Vanessa in the movie, has since been removed at YouTube.

‘High School Musical 3′ Premieres In Los Angeles

Fans are excited over the highly anticipated Disney film ‘High School Musical 3′, which had its premiere in Los Angeles. CBS News’ Hattie Kauffman was on hand, talking with the film’s stars. Asked how sad it was at graduation as the show’s stars prepare to move on, responded, “Just way too emotional. I mean just horrible, I could not stop crying.” added, “We were crying hysterically. It’s definitely something we’ll always remember for the rest of our lives.”

Her report, aired on ‘The Early Show’ on Friday (October 17), has since been removed at CBS.com.

Hello all :)

Last night I went to see ‘Nick and Nora’s Infinite Playlist’ and it was so cute! – I think the entire cast is so much fun to watch, and the storyline is great – Seeing movies like this is such a good feeling… It also shows you how important movies are in life – you can be in a horrible mood, and most of the time a movie that makes you laugh and enjoy life can change your mood by the time you walk out of the theatre.

Try and check out the film, I’m a big fan of Kat Dennings and Michael Cera and it would be nice to give them some support!

It’s also a great soundtrack.. try and pick one up!

Russell Brand Films Kissing Scenes With Pink, Katy Perry

Russell Brand spoke with The Sun about kissing and while filming ‘Get Him To The Greek’, the follow-up to ‘Forgetting Sarah Marshall’, where he reprises his role as frisky rocker Aldous Snow. “In the scenes with and Katy Perry I had to do kissing. I got to snog them both in a day,” Brand told Gordon Smart. “Katy Perry is lovely. She is the kind of girl who would skip down stairs lightly. is a lovely woman — a forceful, sexy woman. With both of them I didn’t act, the acting stopped.” Brand also filmed a scene with for the movie while on the Paramount set, where he hosted the MTV Video Music Awards. “Christina was amazing,” he said. “She is unbelievable — a perfect object. How could you ever talk to her about anything other than sex?” Read more.

The Rocker is in theaters! What a blast! So, this weekend, would be my favorite weekend for you to go and see movies… a movie… the movie! The Rocker!
Besides that, I’ve just been at home writing and, getting my car washed.

Britney Spears Won’t Be Starring In ‘Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill!’ Remake

Following a report from the Daily Telegraph claiming Quentin Tarantino was eyeing to star as a killer lesbian stripper in his remake of the 1965 cult film ‘Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill!’, a rep for the pop tart told ‘Access Hollywood’ it isn’t happening. “Though she definitely intends to explore acting roles down the road, right now she’s concentrating on recording her next album,” the flack said.
