Bass Brushes Off Potential Film Critics

The Inquirer’s Steven Rea talked to ’s at the premiere of ‘On The Line’ and he addressed potential reaction from critics saying, “Of course the critics are going to be there. You know, ‘musicians can’t act’ and that kind of stuff, but we did it for ourselves and we did it for our fans, and I think it’s a great movie, a good-quality movie.”

Everyone Wants To Know How Britney Kisses

IMDB reports Justin Long is being asked by everyone his experience kissing in the pair’s upcoming film Crossroads. Long says, “Everyone wants to know what it was like kissing Britney. Even my grandmother wanted to know all about it. Guys I haven’t seen for years started calling me up about it. You can imagine what they wanted to know – was Britney a good kisser?”

Justin says he struggles with an answer admitting, “But that’s really hard to answer because we were playing characters who kiss. What I can say is that everything people think about Britney is true. She’s beautiful, a lovely person and really cool.”

S Club 7 In Upcoming Movie

7 have signed a deal with Columbia Tristar to make a movie which is set to begin filming next April. Tina Barrett from the group said, “It’s going to be really exciting for us. We haven’t seen the scripts yet. But it won’t be like Hannibal Lecter or anything like that.” Barrett predicts it will be based partially on their television series in the UK.

More Lance Kissy-Kissy Talk

Katrillion talked to ’s about the much hyped kissing scene he had with co-star Emmanuelle Chriqui in ‘On The Line’. Bass says, “I’ll admit it, we were going for MTV’s (Movie Award for) Best Kiss,” adding “It was cool, but strange as there are 1,000 people cheering and screaming at you while you are doing it … It feels unnatural because they (the movie crew) are telling you to move your neck every which way.”

JC’s ‘On The Line’ Scene Cut

Katrillion has details on the secret scene at the closing credits of On The Line which will feature Justin Timberlake and Chris Kirkpatrick of , but not JC. Chris said, “JC was in Toronto and he was going to be a bartender in the film,” Lance explained. “But his scene got cut and we didn’t have time to shoot it. He was on the set but he wasn’t in it.”

Joey Fatone Trying To Reach Nicolas Cage

The Chicago Sun Times’ Bill Zwecker reports ’s fascination with Superman has him psyched to work with a megastar cast to play the role of the superhero. Fatone revealed, ”I really want to produce the Nicolas Cage film about Superman and have been trying to reach him.” He likely will join Lance tonight at the hip White Star Lounge to promote the film On The Line as well as the Chicago area launch of the Loup, the teen-only phone network.

Mandy Movie Trailer Debut

Mariah Looks Forward To More Film Projects

According to IMDB.com, is still going ahead with a film career despite horrible reviews for her debut, Glitter. Carey says, “It’s hard to decide which creative thing I enjoy most. I have been singing since I started talking. I have been a songwriter most of my life. I enjoy acting as well. I look forward to further projects, one which I just completed. It allows me to use a different side to my creativity.”

As for the business side of the movie business, Carey admits, “There are a lot of variables, directors, producers, and a lot of people who are in control and it’s their vision. It is a different situation and in life I like to go through different situations. It is different than making a record, but I enjoyed it and look forward to my next acting experience. I will never stop writing and singing songs. I felt acting in this film made me more connected to the music.”

Justin Long Hopes People Will Believe Britney’s A Dork

Teenmag.com interviewed Justin Long who stars with new movie, Not a Girl. Justin says of Spears, “Everyone there was so cool, including Britney. It was just like a joy to work on that movie.” Justin also hopes “people don’t have a hard time believing [Britney] as [a dork].”
