Vanessa Hudgens Not Quite Signed On To ‘High School Musical 3′

After UsMagazine.com reported that had signed on to star in the Disney big screen movie ‘High School Musical 3′, OK! magazine asked the 18-year-old’s rep what the status of the deal. “Nothing yet,” Vanessa’s publicist said. “It’s still in negotiations. CLOSE, but still in negotiations.”

‘Finding t.A.T.u.’ Trailer

A clip featuring portions of several scenes from the upcoming film ‘Finding ’, starring Mischa Barton and Shantel VanSanten, has been posted online. The story follows friendless American teenager Janie Sawyer (VanSanten) who is trying to escape her lonely life in Moscow through her love of music. Janie meets Lana Starkova (Barton) on a fansite. Trapped in a provincial Russian town, Lana is desperate to flee her mundane life and the two girls develop an instant connection. The pair fall in love and are swept into a dangerous world of obsession, drug abuse and murder. ’s upcoming English album ‘Waste Management’, planned for an early 2008 release, will be the soundtrack of the film. Locusts Invade Jessica Simpson’s ‘The Insider’ Interview

‘The Insider’ visited on the set of her new film ‘Major Movie Star’, where the interviewer and Jessica had to deal with swarming locusts. Simpson said that has been the major issue on the film’s Louisiana set. She insisted that it’s been her Maltepoo that has been the diva on the set, not her.

’s new film ‘I Know Who Killed Me’ is set to be released on Friday – no word how the 21-year-old’s latest brush with the law will alter Sony Pictures’ release plans, nor whether she’ll show up at the premiere tomorrow. It’s probably a safe bet to scratch LiLo from tonight’s scheduled appearance on ‘The Tonight Show with Jay Leno’, though look for Linds to feature prominently in the monologue.

The Sunday Times spoke with former *NSYNC star about his foray into acting, and his latest film release, ‘Shrek The Third’. “Listen, I don’t aspire to be a movie star – I got enough attention,” he explained. So why act at all, then? “Well, I always wanted to do it [in his teens, he appeared in a TV movie, 'Model Behavior'], but I never really got the courage,” Timberlake responded. “I thought I wasn’t going to get the opportunity to do it the way I wanted to do it.”
