Britney Spears Really Is Naked In ‘Toxic’

In ’ ‘Toxic’ video, one of the most arresting images features the singer naked except for strategically placed diamonds. Though director Joseph Kahn tells MTV News people often think Brit is wearing a nude hose over her body, he promised that she went full commando for the shot. “That’s just her naked with diamonds on,” he promised. “I’m not sure what I was thinking about when she told me about that scene, maybe those intros to James Bond movies, but every video needs an iconic image to remember, and that’s it.” Read more.

Toy’s Trick

spoke with Liz Smith of The New York Post about how she sent DJs her new single ‘Just Wanna Dance’ with the pseudonym ‘Toy,’ her family nickname. She laughs, “We said I was a European artist, and it just took off. When I revealed it was me, they couldn’t believe it, and some even told me they would never have touched the record had they known the truth!” The song, which she co-wrote and co-produced with Jeffre Phillips, is No. 13 on Billboard’s dance charts.

Britney Spears ‘Best Of’ Track Listing

Several fan sites have posted what they refer to as “the full tracklisting for her imminent Best Of album,” though the referenced source — either Launch.com or Launch UK — have no news which feature a track listing. It appears part of the story was lifted from a Launch UK/dotmusic article, but no track listings have been posted.

Update: Looks like the search feature at Launch UK didn’t show the latest Spears article, which does include a greatest hits tracklisting.

Update II: The story at uk.launch.yahoo.com has since been removed.

Paternity Test Clears Marc Anthony For Third Time

The Associated Press reports that a third paternity test has confirmed that didn’t father a child with a Cuban dancer as she has claimed, the singer’s lawyer said. Elizabeth Leyva, who lives in Miami, brought a paternity lawsuit in a Florida court, alleging that Anthony is the father of her son, who was born late last year.

Judge Issues Tentative Rulings On Jackson Evidence

The Associated Press reports that the judge in the child molestation case issued tentative rulings Monday admitting 39 pieces of evidence seized in a search of Jackson’s Neverland estate and suggesting he will throw out a number of unspecified items. All items of evidence were identified only by numbers in court and most of them were shrouded in secrecy.
