Glasser, real name Cameron Mesirow, will be performing at the Latitude Festival on July 15th in the Music arena at Henham Park in Suffolk, England. The American post pop artist is touring in support of her debut album ‘Ring’, released last year. Check out a Q&A Glasser did with the festival’s web site below.

Q: Who is your “must see” performance at Latitude this year?
A: I would be a little star-struck by Echo & The Bunnymen. I’m excited to see them and Os Mutantes.

Q: Not including items used in your performance, what is your “must-have” festival item?
A: I think drinking water is a really important, but I always seem to forget about that. Also ear plugs.

Q: Do you have anything special planned for your performance at Latitude?
A: You’ll just have to see, there’s always at least an outfit to see.

Q: If you could have anyone (dead or alive) to introduce you onstage who would it be (and why)?
A: Pee Wee Herman. I’m a massive fan. I hope to collaborate with him someday. He doesn’t return any of my emails.

Q: Latitude is…
A: …the angular distance of a location on earth, south or north of the equator. ;)

Annie Lennox chatted with the New Statesman in a Q&A, where the Eurythmics was asked if she’ll always be making music. “I only want to make music because I have a passion for it,” the 56-year-old said. “The momentum of success that we had as the Eurythmics was so powerful that I couldn’t get off the bus for a decade. I got to my thirties and suddenly felt that I didn’t have a life – it was just about travelling and touring and making albums. Money is a good thing and it’s obviously useful, but to work only for money or fame would never interest me.” Annie also discussed fame, her androgynous style, feminism, sexism, and politics.

Paris Hilton visited ‘Piers Morgan Tonight’ on Tuesday (May 31) with her mother Kathy for a revealing interview where the heiress talked about people viewing her as spoiled, having not earned her wealth, the infamous sex tape(s), her music career, the death of her friend Michael Jackson, and her new reality show ‘The World According to Paris’.

On her music career:

Piers: If you — if you came on “America’s Got Talent,” what would your — what would your talent be?

Paris: Singing.

Piers: Can you — yes, you can sing. You’ve made an album.

Paris: I’m recording my new album right now, too.

Piers: Are you getting you’re a serious singer or are you a brand singer, as an extension of your brand?

Paris: It’s just part of my brand. I see myself as a businesswoman and a brand. And singing is just something that adds to my brand.

On Michael Jackson:

Piers: Paris, did you know Michael well?

Paris: Yeah, I grew up – just my mom – I remember – one of the first memories I have of him was when my mom took us to the music video set of “Thriller.” And we have the pictures still. I just always loved him. I used to go to his concerts and he’d bring my sister and I on stage and we’d sing up there.

I just always loved him so much. He was such an amazing man.

Krista recently spoke with TheConcertScene.com in a Q&A, talking about the follow-up to her ‘Taking Back Brooklyn’ debut. “Right now, I’m currently working on my second album, and it’s definitely different from the first record,” she explained. “The first record was a part of my teenage angst, but all real and valid feelings, that I feel spoke for a group of real kids and adults out there that are going through things… This record is more of me just exploring my adulthood and letting loose a little bit and just being happy and living life and having fun. But there are also those ballad songs that have to do with break-ups and love.”

I’d like to think that I’m maturing, and every day I experience something new, whether it be fear or falling in love or anything – I don’t even know. I have no idea what’s ahead of me.
