January 6, 2003 – Liz Smith of the New York Post reports that Ben Affleck’s best buddy Matt Damon wants to make a double wedding — when Ben marries Jennifer Lopez, he wants to marry Odessa Whitmire. Damon’s publicist has denied reports he and Whitmire are engaged.

January 5, 2003 – Us Weekly reports Jennifer is gearing up for her planned wedding to Ben Affleck. The diva recently paid a visit to Les Habitudes in Los Angeles with her stylist to try out wedding gowns and accessories. A source at the shop says Lopez tried on Emma Hope silk shoes with pointed toes and little heals. “Those aren’t her typical shoes, but they are for a wedding,” the source noted. Lopez also splurged $15,000 on sweaters for Ben at Barneys New York in Beverly Hills.
