The Sun reports Simon Cowell is to judge a Celebrity Pop Idol special – and has banned former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell because he says she’s not good enough. “ITV have spoken about doing this for ages,” Cowell said. “We should have done it a year ago but we didn’t have time. We have banned Geri. We’ve got enough people who can actually sing for the show.” Read more.
