The New York Daily News reports Time Style & Design editor Kate Betts hosted a luncheon for the fashion biz at the Time-Life Building, where Intuition boss Jaye Hersh said that sales at her shop and website are “celebrity-driven.” Hersh explained, “When people see a T-shirt on Lindsay Lohan or Jessica Simpson, they want one just like it. It’s a way of having a little piece of celebrity for themselves, and get some immediate gratification.”
