It has been confirmed, These are true Divas, but what no one seems to admit is that selling a certain amount of records doesn’t show any competition, now days, look at artists who are really selling music whether it be CD’s or etc… it’s mostly teeny boppers, so I presume that if you have the looks that all it takes to sell music, well if you agree then I wonder why this happened and I quote: Best Selling Album of 2002
January 23, 2003
In the year 2002, Céline’s ‘A New Day Has Come’ was the 3rd top-selling album in Canada, and the 5th top-selling album in France. It was also one of the only English-language albums to appear in the top-selling ranks in France. So Celine’s album wasn’t number 1? Does that make her a loser or less appealing? Mariah Carey’s Charmbracelet has sold approximately 1.5 million albums worldwide or etc.. It debut at No. 3 on the Billboard Charts and remained in the top spot! Why are these ladies being judged so hard, is it the music industry making the wrong decisions or is music industry now focusing on young artists only? I guess now days true talent can be substituted for the mere looks and lipsinching of such artists such as Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, etc. My opinion in reality is this and I would like to hear yours!
