Chad Michael Murray Explains Hilary Duff Relationship
YM magazine interviewed Chad Michael Murray in their March issue and asked him about rumors he had dated Hilary Duff. “Hopefully this is the last time I have to answer this question, because I get it all the time,” Chad responded, sounding somewhat annoyed. “But no, we weren’t dating.” He and Hilary star in ‘Cinderella Story’, and according to Chad, the public appearances that spawned the rumors were just the two getting to know each other. The first scene they did together involved a kiss, and because they weren’t super comfortable with each other, the smooch turned out really badly. The director innocently suggested Chad hanging out with Hilary Duff off-set so things would go better filming. “So I took her to the WB Image Campaign. I didn’t realize people would assume we were dating.” For a few months now, he’s been dating Sophia Bush, who plays Brooke on their show, ‘One Tree Hill’.
