Chantal Kreviazuk Reacts To Death Of Beloved Family Dog

Chantal Kreviazuk checked in with fans on her blog at Myspace on Saturday (July 7) after the death of her beloved dog Olympia (Pia). “She was my shadow; loved her mommy,” Kreviazuk writes. “She was patient with the kids. She protected them everytime we all went out together. It was sooo soo cute. I was just so proud of her, and the lovely lady she grew to be.” As for her husband and Our Lady Peace singer Raine Maida’s reaction to the news, she writes, “My husband is so incredible. He was with Pia when she died as I did not arrive back in town from Europe til later that night. Raine was strong for the kids until I got back. I am in awe of both his sensitivity and his strength, and I am so proud to be his wife. He is the most loyal and supportive husband, and any opportunity that I have to show him the same is as wonderful an opportunity as any, in my opinion.” Read more, and check out pictures of Pia, here.
