Charlotte Martin On Comparisons

Charlotte Martin spoke with The Daily Pennsylvanian about her new album ‘On Your Shore’, which hit stores August 10th. Critics have compared her to Kate Bush, Amy Lee, Stevie Nicks and Norah Jones, but Martin doesn’t mind, “I think [comparisons] are a complement; really awesome. I’m different and it doesn’t bother me. I think [they] are necessary; they give people something to ground [the sound] in.”
