Cheryl Cole tells the Daily Star that with Girls Aloud being shut out by the Brit Awards for since winning ‘Popstars: The Rivals’ in 2002 and releasing five albums since then, she’s hoping for a nomination on Monday, and a win on February 20th. “We want to win a Brit in 2008. It’s really as simply as that,” Cole said. “Best Band, Best Album – it doesn’t matter which, but it would be nice to have one on the mantlepiece because that’s the one award everyone wants.” Read more.
