Girls Aloud star Cheryl Tweedy arrived at soccer star boyfriend Ashley Cole’s birthday bash sporting a huge sparkler on her engagement finger – only to storm out 30 minutes later in floods of tears. “One of Ash’s mates made a comment about Cheryl and she took it really badly,” a spy revealed. “She started laying into Ash’s pal and that sparked the argument. She’d only been at the party for five minutes – they’d had a kiss and were holding hands. But things just turned nasty.” A friend of the couple added, “It ruined the night for both of them.
