The Mirror has more details on England soccer star Ashley Cole’s marriage proposal to Cheryl Tweedy. “Ashley’s proposal came as a complete surprise to Cheryl,” a source revealed. “They’ve only been dating for nine months but are totally inseparable and madly in love. From the moment they got together, it was obvious to their friends and family that they were really serious about each other. They totally trust one another and and have a very solid relationship.” As for her Girls Aloud bandmates, the source said, “The band are thrilled for her. They’re joking that they’ll all volunteer as bridesmaids on the big day next year.”
