CD USA caught up with Cheyenne Kimball for a Q&A and asked the 15-year-old singer/songwriter what she thinks about this year’s album sales trend where veteran acts dominate the charts. “They don’t change too much,” she said. “I think a problem with some artists is they come out of something and they change it completely, which is ok to change a little bit, but to completely turn yourself around into something different, people won’t buy into that. They also keep writing and believing in their music. If you get out there and keep putting out albums, people will keep buying them. I hope to after my first album comes out, right now I’m working on my second one.”
