‘American Idol’ geek Kevin Covais spoke with The New York Daily News after he was voted off the show for his rendition of ‘When I Fall in Love’. “I did the best I could,” Covais said in a telephone interview from Los Angeles on Thursday. “I was never into the song as much as I was this week. It was perfect for me and everything seemed right. I was myself. I acted as myself and I came across to America as myself. I was happy with that, though not with the result.” Now, Chicken Little is set for a hero’s welcome back home in Long Island.
