Christina Aguilera At Odds With RCA Over New Album Sound

The New York Post reports Christina Aguilera is said to be at odds with RCA over the direction of her next album, which has resulted in the delay of the disc that was supposed to be out in May. “Christina wants a more adult sound,” said an insider. “But RCA thinks that if Christina stays with her teeny-bopper stuff, it will sell. They don’t want to take chances with her singing actual rock.” For his part, RCA chairman Bob Jamieson said that wasn’t true and added, “She is a woman now and has things to say. I am amazed and proud of her.”
