George Tejeda reported on UPI.com about his thoughts on the Hispanic backlash against Christina Aguilera, saying that Hispanics are regarding to her as a “phony”. This is due to reports where Christina said that she wanted to give back and show appreciation to her Irish fans with the late October concerts in Belfast and Dublin. In the early days of her career, Christina mentioned about her Hispanic background. Tejeda added, “By tying tackiness in so heavily with a Hispanic persona, Aguilera drags all Hispanics down every time she plays the part of an Ecuadorian bimbo.”
