IGN.com spoke with Christina Aguilera about her ‘Car Wash’ collaboration with Missy Elliott for ‘Shark Tale’ and how she felt being an animated character for the film. “I caught a glimpse of it, [but it's] not completely finished. But I freaked out, I’ve never been an animated character before,” she said. “And I think I’m the Christina Aguilera jellyfish. So that was really, really exciting to see, you know, to see me as a fish. So [laughs] it was really, really cool to know that they enjoyed the song so much. And it’s such a big part of the movie at the end. Jeffrey Katzenberg came and surprised me while I was in the studio. He brought me a cardboard cutout of like three different looks currently that I’ve been, you know, playing around with and the people there, like put it into creating this jellyfish and whatnot. I was, like, so surprised and to know that Will Smith had to go back in and say my name in the movie, and, you know, it was just really, really cool.” Read more.
