The Age reports that girls being treated for eating disorders at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne have been attending songwriting workshops to help them express feelings they may not have revealed before, following the lead of Christina Aguilera in ‘The Voice Within’. “They wanted to be Christina Aguilera and say something important in their songs, and they told the truth,” University of Melbourne music therapist Katrina McFerran said. “They told their most dramatic stories.” Read more.
