‘Elements’, an all-night dancing event with Christina Aguilera at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center, has been canceled. General Manager Mark Leahy said promoter Antonio DeMarco, citing “extenuating circumstances”, pulled the plug on the late Saturday night/early Sunday morning event, which touted a nightclub setting with expensive sound systems, laser and light shows, national DJs, dancers and acrobats. Aguilera was one of several singers on the bill. “It is no fault of Christina Aguilera’s… This was just a nightmare. (The issue) just came out of nowhere,” DiMarco told The Tribune-Review.
