Christina Aguilera Reminds Fans Why She’s ‘Real’

Sa!n magazine spoke with ahead of the singer’s visit to Australia, where she talked about her latest album ‘Stripped’ and her authenticity. “As I say in the first 30 seconds of this record, this is me. No hype, no gloss, no pretense,” Aguilera said. “Basically, what I’m saying is that there is nothing fake about what I do. I’m upfront, I’m real, I’m honest and I’m open with my feelings. I am a hard worker and I really give to my fans through my shows. I am someone they can relate to and maybe someone they want to be. But what happens is the media tend to beat up what I say and forget that I’m a real person with feelings who goes through normal things that other 22 year olds experience.”

The media is the absolute worst. They will take any comment and TRY to make something out of it. This posting does not reflect anything I haven’t heard Chis. say before but it’s okay.

Basically the people who act or claim they are “real” like Christina and J.Lo are the ones that are the most fake. The only really thing about Christina is well nothing.

She’s just stating the obvious for the benefit of all the dumbass dickheads (AKA Britney fans) who need extra reiteration of the truth before they can begin to comprehend it. Britney has warped their fragile little minds.

Her interviews are fun to read because every word that comes out of her mouth is true and with sense. Another reason to love this intelligent woman. ‘I am a hard worker and I really give to my fans through my shows’ Ouch! Britney are you there?

She’s nothing like any average 22 year old. No celebrity is. These people aren’t “real”; they live in their own worlds, all of them. Very privileged, very sheltered. Everyone who says they’re real — J Lo, X-Tina, maybe Britney (haven’t heard it, but she probably did), Beyonce, etc. — celebrity is the only life they know (except maybe J Lo, who entered the business later than the other girls). Anyway, this was a nice statement by X-Tina overall, though. But if she is hurt by what people say, then she shouldn’t be a hypocrite and do the same to others.

She may have a good voice, but this girl is NO role model…what kind of parent would want their kids trash talking every single one of their peers and thinking they are the hottest in town?

Oh, is that why Christina is a suck-ass and boring performer? I guess her fans don’t expect much out of her.

  8. JMAX says:

Real? Don’t make me laugh. She’s as real as her breasts in the “Voice Within” video. BTW, why is she still promoting “Stripped”? She has released 5 singles from it already. Does she think it still has a chance to outsell “Britney”? Sorry, girl! It’s not gonna happen.

  9. JMAX says:

If your real why do you need to remind us? Your basically more real than Michael Jackson’s nose. I also want to know why do us, Australian’s get reject singers?

  10. fighter4xtina says:

Um, sorry to break it to ya, but she already has, it don’t take no freaking superstar to surpass the “Britney” album sales, hey didn’t even Avril Lavigne sell more? YEAH I THINK SO! loser!
