Christina Aguilera Reminds Fans Why She’s ‘Real’
Sa!n magazine spoke with Christina Aguilera ahead of the singer’s visit to Australia, where she talked about her latest album ‘Stripped’ and her authenticity. “As I say in the first 30 seconds of this record, this is me. No hype, no gloss, no pretense,” Aguilera said. “Basically, what I’m saying is that there is nothing fake about what I do. I’m upfront, I’m real, I’m honest and I’m open with my feelings. I am a hard worker and I really give to my fans through my shows. I am someone they can relate to and maybe someone they want to be. But what happens is the media tend to beat up what I say and forget that I’m a real person with feelings who goes through normal things that other 22 year olds experience.”
