The New York Daily News reports ’s lawyers submitted a “bizarrely ambitious list of trademark products” with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Among the products and brands she seeks to protect are contact lenses, crayons and anti-perspirants; badminton sets, ski wear and body shapers; and panties, modeling clay and electronic multipleactivity toys. The singer’s trademark lawyer, Rod S. Berman, told Lloyd Grove: “The goodwill associated with her name could be used to brand a huge variety of goods and services. She’s a personality that is relevant not only to the higher teens and 20s, but also to kids.”
