Christina Gets No Response From Her Letter To Britney
Christina Aguilera spoke with Britain’s Glamour magazine about the letter she wrote to pop rival Britney Spears after their war of printed words in Blender magazine several months ago, but says Spears hasn’t responded. “The press contorted my words and maybe they did the same to hers,” she said. “So I wrote to her saying, ‘There’s no need for this. We did have a friendship once. Let’s not get caught up in the tabloids and have this craziness forced upon us.’ I went on to tell her that I have great admiration for her work and to hang in there.
