Latina Magazine has named Christina Aguilera their #3 Woman Of The Year. She has been belittled for her revealing clothes, her dirrty lyrics, and even for trying to promote herself as Latina to capitalize on the surging Latin music market. “For a long time, I had been uncomfortable with the image that had been built around me,” the Grammy-winning pop star recently said. “I’m not that girl.” Instead, she’s the kind of mujer (woman) we can respect: one who thrives in a tough industry by letting her music do the talking.
Her music is lame and boring, the only good thing about her is her voice, imo.

There is just one word I can think of to describe most of you and that you be IGNORANT. Many of you claim that Christina is not Latina, just because she doesn’t look Latina, it doesn’t mean she isn’t. Her father is from Ecuador, hello people? she is Latina. The media just likes to label her as a white girl and that’s it.
