Clay Aiken Deals With ‘Idol’ Baggage

In an interview with USA Today, Clay Aiken acknowledged that being part of ‘American Idol’ brings some baggage. “The show is an amazing steppingstone, but there is a stigma that can follow you,” Aiken explained. “You’re seen as being a reality-show contestant as opposed to a real artist.
