Clay Aiken talked to CNN’s Piers Morgan about President Barack Obama’s support for same-sex marriage on May 9th. “You know, it is a little bittersweet,” the ‘American Idol’ season two runner-up said about the historic support offered by a sitting president. “I’m in North Carolina and as a North Carolinian was really disappointed with the way the amendment initiative vote went yesterday here in North Carolina. But it’s very promising to hear President Obama finally come up and speak out on something that’s so important.
