Reuters reports Clay Aiken, runner-up of the 2003 American Idol, entertained children in Indonesia’s tsunami-devastated Aceh province earlier this week. Visiting as a UNICEF’s goodwill ambassador, Aiken toured refugee camps in the province, where nearly a quarter of a million Acehnese were killed or missing as a result of the December 26 earthquake and tsunami. “I think this is a good thing. It’s a very good thing that they have some opportunity to come here, come together and have fun, and play and sing together,” the singer said.
