Clive Davis Makes A Run For Mariah Carey

The New York Daily News reports Clive Davis of J Records has submitted a last-minute offer to sign a record deal with Mariah Carey, according to sources close to the talks. The move means Carey is currently choosing between Davis and Island Def Jam, and Carey hopes to make a decision within the next few weeks.
