CNN’s 90-Second Pop, Culture Watch On Michael Jackson Troubles

Humorist Andy Borowitz, Jessica Shaw from Entertainment Weekly, and B.J. Sigesmund from US Weekly were on CNN’s ‘American Morning’ on Monday to discuss the Michael Jackson child molestation charges, the huge amount of press coverage it’s received, and stars who have rallied in support of the King of Pop. After hearing LL Cool J, Alicia Keys, and Sean ‘P. Diddy’ Combs issue their support, Shaw responded, “P. Diddy is no stranger to handcuffs himself. But I don’t know. I mean, do you really want to hear Alicia Keys saying he’s been a major force in American culture; therefore, he must be innocent?” Borowitz added, “Where are his fellow ’80s artists, though? Where is Duran Duran? Where are A-Ha? I’d like to hear from them at this point.” Read more.
