Colbie Caillat Backs Offshore Drilling Ban

Colbie Caillat lounges on a love seat is advising her fans about five things they can do in regards to the Gulf oil spill and our use of petroleum, though none of the five involve fuel consumed when thousands of fans drive a cumulative tens of thousands of miles to attend each of her concerts, especially those played far outside of population areas like her July 3rd date at the Gorge Amphitheatre. The singer songwriter wrote on her MySpace blog:

1. Tell President Obama and Congress to restore the full moratorium on new offshore drilling in federal waters.

2. Join thousands across America on June 26th as we come together to take a stand. On June 26 we are coordinating a nationwide event to oppose new offshore drilling. It’s called Hands Across the Sand. It will take place in all coastal states in the United States.
