Conan O’Brien joked during his Late Night monologue on Wednesday: “Joey Fatone of *NSYNC is in the news. No woos there. [ Laughter ] Joey Fatone of *NSYNC has announced he’s going to star in the Broadway musical ‘Rent.’ [ Audience boos ] Yeah, Fatone says he’s going to Broadway because it’s his only chance to work somewhere gayer than *NSYNC. [ Laughter ] Ha, ha! Got him! Tomorrow night, Lance Bass! We’ll get ‘em one by one. They’ll pay for singing.”
