The Star reports Mariah Carey’s manager Michael Richardson said the singer had heard a lot about Malaysian batik and wanted to get some while in town as part of her ‘Charmbracelet’ tour. He said it would be unlikely Carey would wear any batik wear when she takes the stage at the Merdeka Stadium in Kuala Lumpur for her one-night performance Friday night. “No, I don’t think so,” said Richardson.
