Jeannette Walls of MSNBC.com spoke with a concertgoer at the historic Rolling Stones SARS show in Toronto, where *NSYNC star Justin Timberlake was booed at had to dodge water bottles being hurled at him. “The crowd probably reacted this way because the majority of the artists in the lineup were older and more classic rock & roll, with most people in the crowd coming to see the Stones, AC/DC, Rush and the Guess Who,” the concert-goer explained. “This was not a boy-band friendly crowd, to say the least. Besides, for most Canadian men, listening to a man with a voice like a 14-year-old girl isn’t cool on most days, and it certainly wasn’t popular on this one… I’m glad he didn’t get hit, ‘cause that would be very un-Canadian, but I sure did enjoy the look of surprise on his face.”

This is true, my friend said it was hilarious, but really mean, because he was just trying to put on a show, and he was good. it was all the dirty old mullet sporting men. Who were throwing things, they need to grow up.
I think some people forgot why they were having this concert in the first place.
There’s just one thing that I can’t understand… Justin is trying to go on the rnb/rap thing and he wants to do a show where people are coming to see the Rolling Stones? Like what the f***??? Yo Justin, decide what you want man! BTW, I’m truly proud to say I’m Canadian! lol Canadians aren’t afraid to say the truth! Justin sux!
Like just take a look on the reactions in the crowd when Nick Carter came on July 1st and compare!
I’m sure that the people here are gonna comment by saying: “Stop comparing BSB and N’SYNC!!” But I do compare them. Cuz I want to and I do it and I’m not gonna be hurt by your comments like “N’SYNC is the best!” I mean just STOP and OPEN YOUR EYES! Here, we got a proof!
Ha ha! This is hilarious! Justin had it coming! I just wish I was there- I would have loved to join in.
And of course, some people are gonna say something like “But it wasn’t N’SYNC, it was just Justin”. Like WAKE UP! N’SYNC doesn’t mean anything. N’SYNC is JUSTIN, JUSTIN is N’SYNC. N’SYNC wouldn’t exist without Justin! Before the whole Justin and Britney thing, who really gave a f*** about N’SYNC? And damn that we were right! lol
the whole throwing bottles thing was not Justin’s fault. he was just out of place in the concert and I’m sure a lot of people enjoyed the performance too.
Just plain rude behavior. It’s not OK to throw stuff at any person on the stage. But Mick and Keith had the last laugh: They brought Justin on stage to sing along with The Stones. Justin did a great job and The Stones loved him. Hooray for The Stones!! Hiss on those rude fans.
Um…a lot of people. Britney and Justin weren’t together when the released their first record in the US, and they went straight to number 1. Get your facts straight. Sorry, but BSB is over…what was it…2000 when they last released an album? They aren’t coming back. At least I pray that they don’t.
“I mean just STOP and OPEN YOUR EYES! Here, we got a proof! ” a lot of great artists have gotten booed or had things thrown at them at one point or another. so that isn’t proof. so a few people threw stuff at him. a lot of people did buy his album. “we got a proof” very well said.
“Like WAKE UP! N’SYNC doesn’t mean anything. N’SYNC is JUSTIN, JUSTIN is N’SYNC. N’SYNC wouldn’t exist without Justin! Before the whole Justin and Britney thing, who really gave a f*** about N’SYNC?” ‘NSYNC is Justin, Chris, Joey, Lance, and JC. Without ‘NSYNC, Justin wouldn’t have made it this far. ‘NSYNC was gaining popularity before the whole speculation about Justin and Britney.
But Mick and Keith had the last laugh: They brought Justin on stage to sing along with The Stones. Justin did a great job and The Stones loved him. Hooray for The Stones!! Hiss on those rude fans.” yea, and keith was yelling at the crowd to stop them from throwing stuff. but didn’t mick diss Justin earlier?
