Rita Zekas of the Toronto Star spoke with Mandy Moore and British actor Matthew Goode about their new film ‘Chasing Liberty’, which saw director Andy Cadiff fight to get them both to play the lead roles. “I did the auditioning process and they made me sweat,” Goode said. “Andy fought for me, an unknown.” Mandy interjected, “Matt had no idea who I was.” Goode responded, “I thought she was a bit of a diva. Someone said she was sweet as candy.” Moore swats at him. And later, when asked about her boyfriend Andy Roddick, Mandy seemed to throw cold water on a long-term romance. “How can you say it will last forever?” she asked rhetorically.
