The Boston Globe reports that when in Boston on Monday, Katie Couric was asked whether Paris Hilton’s jail sentence deserved space in the CBS Evening News. “No,” Couric said to applause. “We have a precious amount of time on the CBS Evening News and I don’t think we need to ever utter the name Paris Hilton.”
