Courtney Love Suspects Britney Spears’ Problem Is Adderall Abuse
On her blog at MySpace, Courtney Love weighed in on last week’s news about Britney Spears being sent to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for a 36-hour lockdown after a showdown with police in a child custody dispute with ex-husband Kevin Federline. “Man was that truly necessary,” Love asked in a posting on Friday (January 4), edited for readability, before the troubled pop tart was released on Saturday. “Poor thing, I didn’t need to see all that fecal matter on the walls, but Thaliens at Cedars is obviously loads nicer than Bellevue – she’s taking far too much Adderol [ie. Adderall - a pharmaceutical psychostimulant comprising mixed amphetamine salts used primarily to treat attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and narcolepsy], that’s what I’ve heard and what appears to be the issue to me, which is by the way none of my fu**ing business, or ours. I hope she gets a smoke soon, they don’t let you smoke for 72 hours on a 5150, it blows for her, and I feel bad for her, really really bad for her. I came in as an outsider, so I didn’t come in as a sweetheart, it’s slightly easier for me, I was never a good girl. It still sucks ass, but oh whatever… nevermind. Bless. I hope people stop hurting on her.”
