Cowell And Tonioli React To Britney’s VMA Performance

‘Dancing With the Stars’ judge Bruno Tonioli and ‘American Idol’ judge Simon Cowell reacted to Britney Spears’ dance along to her new single ‘Gimme More’ at the MTV Video Music Awards, with completely opposite judgements on her comeback effort. Talking with People magazine, Cowell argued that Britney “stole the show” because “she’s had more attention in the last 48 hours than any artist on the planet.” But Tonioli said “it was sad, because you have someone who used to be great. I saw her years ago in concert, and she was the whole package. She’s a gorgeous girl. It was almost like a ghost of that.” Read more.
