‘Crossroads’ Isn’t As Bad As ‘Glitter’

Lynn Barker of TeenHollywood.com gave her thoughts on ‘Crossroads’ and whether the Britney Spears acting vehicle is as bad as Mariah Carey’s ‘Glitter’ was. Barker said, “No. It’s a much more simple story and the music is actually logically woven into the plot. Britney won’t win any acting awards but this is her first try and she’s charming enough for us to root for.” Barker gave the film 3 out of 5 stars concluding, “If you are a young, rabid Britney fan, you’ll love the film. If you are older and think Britney is hot, you’ll see her in at least a couple of skimpy outfits. If you can’t stand her, you wouldn’t be going anyway. ‘Crossroads’ is surprisingly…okay.” Read more.
