Gemma Tarlich of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel gave her thoughts on the Britney Spears starring ‘Crossroads’ and railed on it’s heavy promotion of Pepsi and the singer’s previous album. Tarlich said, “Like Spears’ music, the movie is too sexually charged for preteens – and like ‘A Mother’s Gift,’ the bomb of a book she co-penned in 2001, too simplistic for the rest of us. Lacking substance and soul, ‘Crossroads’ comes up shorter than Britney’s cutoffs.” The full story at onwisconsin.com has since been removed.
