The Britney Spears starring ‘Crossroads’ got an opening week number two position debut at the box office with a $14.6 million estimated figure, putting it $6 million behind the top grossing John Q, starring Denzel Washington. The figure was lower than many expected but still a solid debut when compared to Mariah Carey’s ‘Glitter’ and the *NSYNC featured ‘On the Line.’
