Cybill Shepherd Meets Madonna
As Madonna made her way backstage at the ‘Today’ show to greet fans on the plaza, actress Cybill Shepherd, who was waiting to be interviewed next, lunged at Madonna in an attempt to meet the singer. Madge greeted Shepherd and went on her way.
Madonna Visits ‘Today’
January 11, 2007 – Madonna visited ‘Today’ on Thursday (January 11), to talk with host Meredith Vieira about her new movie, ‘Arthur and the Invisibles’, her career, motherhood, and more. The Material Girl also stood up for pal Rosie O’Donnell in her feud with Donald Trump, and discussed how things are going with Britney Spears, who she kissed in 2003 at the MTV Video Music Awards.
On the Britney kiss:
We shared a kiss and I never saw her again. That’s how it goes in my life.
On Rosie vs Donald:
People are giving Rosie a hard time. I wish they’d stop, I don’t think it’s fair. I don’t know exactly the context of what she said. I have to hear it from the horse’s mouth. She’s a stand-up comic. All stand-up comics talk about provocative things in their monologues before shows.
