The Associated Press reports Santa Barbara County District Attorney Thomas W. Sneddon apologized for joking last week when authorities announced an arrest warrant on child molestation charges had been issued for Michael Jackson. “I think the criticism was valid,” Sneddon told CNN’s Frank Buckley. “I think that to some extent that it was inappropriate. I feel bad about it. I feel bad about it because I think I should have known better.”
