DA In Michael Jackson Case Goes On Trial

The Associated Press reports that during an unconventional pretrial hearing earlier today, Santa Barbara County District Attorney Tom Sneddon defended a raid he orchestrated of the office of a private investigator with ties to then-Michael Jackson defense attorney Mark Geragos. Michael Jackson wasn’t required to attend the hearing, but decided at the last minute to be present Monday in court anyway, along with his parents, Katherine and Joseph, and siblings Janet, La Toya, Jermaine, Randy and Jackie.
