Star magazine reports John Houston’s tragic last words were, “Tell Whitney I forgive her.” Whitney Houston wasn’t with her stricken father when he died, instead, she was in Atlanta after spending the previous week partying in Miami. “John would have liked Whitney to be there. He wanted to tell her he still loved her,” says one of his closest friends. “He knew the end was near and wanted to say goodbye.”
