Daniel Bedingfield, Monica and Smash Mouth will join Andy Roddick, Serena Williams, Andre Agassi, Anna Kournikova, and others at the annual Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day, August 23, at the USTA National Tennis Center in Flushing, New York for the world’s largest tennis and music extravaganza. Interactive games and tennis clinics will start at 9 a.m., and the stadium show, hosted by Olympic Gold Medallist Summer Sanders and MTV’s Quddus, will start at noon. Tickets, from $10-$20, are on sale now through Ticketmaster (1-866-Opentix), go to www.usopen.org or at the USTA National Tennis Center Box Office. Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day, which benefits youth-oriented charities including USA Tennis NJTL, is the official kick-off event of the US Open, which starts August 25.
