Darren Hayes’ official web site reports that after 10 years and 24 million album sales together, the former Savage Garden singer and Columbia Records/Sony BMG have decided to part ways. “The record industry has changed so much since I was first signed, and so have I,” Hayes said. “I’m grateful for the opportunities given to me but am excited about the prospect of a fresh new start.” Hayes plans on releasing a new album in 2007 on a new label.
